St. Louis’ 25 largest commercial real estate deals of 2019 had a combined volume of $796.3 million. Many of the transactions were in the west and northwest areas of the region, which has been growing rapidly over the past few years.
Among the 25 largest deals, the most common type of transaction was multifamily, followed by industrial. Local commercial developers told the Business Journal that multifamily and industrial developments are still progressing in 2020, though some retail is suffering due to the coronavirus pandemic.
